I’ve no experience of replacing them and to be fair have not really heard of them breaking, but the end should be quite easy to replace, you can use the existing wires I guess, or thread new ones down the tube and put ends on it to attach to the Gicar box inside, or solder/wago/clamp and heatshrink short lengths of the existing wires from the Gicar to the new sensor.
Just double check nothing has come away from the Gicar Box.
