For repair: Gaggia Classic 2002

I’m not sure if this is paying it forward or not.

But if anyone wants to ‘service’ and then use or gift it, then it’s free to a good home, just RM p&p cost (about £7?) please. It was working about two weeks ago until it finally couldn’t cope with the enormous amount of scale from our hard water. I tried descaling it and water goes through the (modded) steam wand but not out of the ring group thingy. It’s not been treated kindly but if you want to tinker about with it I’m sure you should be able get it working again, might need some new bits mind.

Yeah mate, and I never figured out how to put up the picture.

How does this work, will you put your email in your profile and I’ll email you?

Edit: I’ve just boxed it up as well as possible in it’s original (or an original) Gaggia box. I’ve stood on the scales (eek!) and it weighs about 9kg. You could pay for and arrange a Royal Mail pick up from my address to yourself and they will print and bring the label?

Tal I sent another email as the Lineone old email is web-based, and I think maybe now as I won’t pay (it was set up around 1995!) it maybe incoming only. - sorry I’ve just realised that doesn’t make sense. Maybe Talk Talk (who eventually took on Lineone) don’t like Hotmail?
