Lelit Elizabeth bubbling in the reservoir

Hi all, I was hoping you could help me with a problem. I’ve been having with my Elizabeth over the last month or so. I noticed that it is bubbling into the reservoir and going through water much more quickly than in the past. I’ve included a picture which I hope might help Identify the problem. I appreciate any help with this!

I’m thinking it may be the safety valve on the steam boiler based on some reading. I was hoping someone might be able to confirm or put me in the right direction.

Do you actually see the bubbles in the reservoir? Is the water getting really hot in there? Does it huddle if the steam boiler is off? When exactly does it bubble? When idle? When warming up?

After the machine warms up (<5min or so) it bubbles in the reservoir even during idle. It’s definitely bubbling in the reservoir, if I take the return hose out of the water in the reservoir I can see steam coming from It. And yes, it’s making the water in the reservoir very hot.

What happens when you open the steam wand?

What’s the temperature in the brew boiler and in the steam boiler when that’s happening?

Does it keep bubbling or does it stop eventually?

Maybe a video would be helpful here.
