Lelit Victoria PID settings?

So I know there’s different types of pre-infusion but not really much about the why’s and wherefore’s of the processes. Atm I’ve turned pre-infusion off, it comes preset to:

On 2 sec Off 4 sec.

Should I not bother with it? Should I bother with it but change the On and Off settings?

The other settings in the PID that seem most pertinent are currently set at:

KP = 1.0, KD =1.0 and Ec = 5

Are the KP and KD to do with how the boiler heater reacts to water temperature changes? And is Ec a temperature off-set that estimates the temperature at the grouphead from the boiler temperature?

If memory serves me right - the pre-infusion on the Victoria is strange, as it vents the group before the shot start. Maybe this has been fixed now. Are you able to video it?

If it’s the same as the Elizabeth for bloom pre-infusion (same boiler, same group) then you can try:

4 sec ON (presumably that’s the pump run time);
10 sec OFF - presumably that’s the total time of the pre-infusion. If that’s not the total time an literally how many seconds the pump is off, then change it to 6 seconds (to make 10 in total).
