Adrianmsmith Can’t fault you if you like coffee with milk only. I am sure fruity, nutty and chocolate notes differ in taste from each other if milk is added. If that’s your preference, so be it. 😊
However, I can’t help think milk does neutralise brew malfunction. But, it doesn’t make a strong case for a hopper fed. Single Dose is perfect be it just a bag, multiples, black, white, cheaper and expensive beans.
The workflow is relative for every one.
I have everything tucked away in a cupboard. I grind straight to portafilter, level it (no wdt) and tamp. I make filter 5 days a week and the Evo for week ends.
We drink black except my wife likes flat whites during week ends.
I have 4-5 bags sitting on my cupboard at any time. The 3 bags for blacks (espresso and filter), 1 decaf and 1 for those who enjoy a flat white without any fruity contents.
