Yesterday I tasted an off-taste in the morning coffee and suspected it was stale coffee in the Niche Zero, which I last cleaned just over three months ago. This is what I found inside:
And this is after a few minutes of cleaning:
Confirmed: yes, there was stale coffee in the Niche and I could 100% taste it. It is gone after cleaning. Note to self: don’t wait the full three months next time.
The genius of the Niche is not just the low retention and fantastic workflow, but also that it’s so easy to take it apart and clean inside.
