Hello!
I recently picked up this little unit, that was a effectively a prop for a large coffee roaster in Sydney, Australia.
Unlike the SBB, it doesnt have a main fan switch which is something an electrician buddy will be helping me rectify. Additionally there is no side port, chaff separates and is blown out rear of machine.
Following the guide available from Dalian creates some decent results, but looking at the machine for its construction and feature set Im sure result cans be had consistently. Has anyone had a dabble with this machine and can offer some guidance? I feel the numbers on the damper rods will be where the magic happens (as opposed to the full open for 3 secs and shut down instruction in the manual).
I will be working on chaff collection soon, basically cobbling together the same parts used in the SBB build via aliexpress and adding an additional thermocouple for roasting software. At this moment, I am focused on Artisan as it works with micro controllers and is open source.
Looking forward to posting my progress.
Have a cracking day.
