ACS Minima - Pump Replacement Wire Help

Hi - I followed the steps in the general Minima thread but seem to have ended up with a spare wire for the pump. Took pics as I disconnected everything I thought but must have missed something.

The pink pump wire is connected to the connector coming from the pump but there is a blue wire labelled ‘Pompa Vibra’ that looks to feed back to each of the two boilers. Does this also connect back to the second connector on the pump? Can’t see anywhere else for it to go! @DavecUK

Sean1ucc If there is only a single wire to the pump and one bare connector, the pump won’t work…so yes.

The yellow wires are to the high temperature cut out switch on the pump body. Effectively there is a Live and common neutral to the pump, and within that live should be the pump thermostatic cutout.

Perfect! Thanks for clearing that up Dave. Everything reconnected and pump is working - however, the pressure regulator(?) doesn’t seem to be kicking in now though. With a blind filter in the pressure shoots way past the 9 bar.

Where should I start looking to sort this or what may I have done?

Sean1ucc Pressure regulation is done via the mechanical expansion valve at the top of the machine (brass tubular thing with a or silicon tube coming out of it).

It’s 2 parts and one screws into the other, unscrew it anticlockwise to reduce pressure and clockwise to increase it. I suggest adjust ¼ turn and check each time.
