Over the years I constantly have visited the topic of shaving. Now, the best tip I have recently picked up (and I know most of you will know this already) is not to run a sink of water but to hold the razor under running hot water and this cleans the blade far far better. Razor blades often feel dull after a few shaves. It is not because the blade has lost its edge but because the gap in between the multi blades has become clogged up. To test this I had a shave with a weeks worth of stubble. I started off with razor from Temu that cost £3.39 for a handle and 12 blades. Using the hold under the tap method it gave me a pretty good shave but did miss the odd hair around my lips.

Then I switched to a Feather F11 Neo to finish off. Then I found my Razorpit that I have not used for years. If you have not seen these they are like a razor strop tool that you put a bit of shaving foam on and rub the blade upwards 4 times. I once used the same blade for in excess of 12 months shaving 3 times a week!
