Is that flash boiling at 97 degrees normal?

MuddyOne - I obviously did! Still… if a machine needs to be understood and can’t be consistently good, given all the electronics and what nots involved, let alone the price tag - Then something is not right. You should tweak the parameters out of the box for perfection, not to get a good shot. In my opinion. So at this point - I wish you good luck with your machine, and I hope you find its sweet spot. 👍

Bianca must be facing similar challenges - can you tell without scace device that 90 set is 90 or by adjusting off set ? That’s the whole point of this conversation.

Jake also said he has no idea on his decent if the temperature he is setting is the actual he is getting.

I also said that I started to adjust flow control to mimic vibratory pump , so both of these tweaks ( -3 off set) started getting me great results.

The machine is different from what you may know, but that doesn’t mean it’s broken 🤷🏻‍♂️

You did above you said it was 97 so its 97?🤔🤔

And, as @Cuprajake said above, if it tastes how you want, what does it matter what the absolute number is. If it tastes worse above and below that number then that number is correct for that coffee and your mouth!!

My point was a number is just a number

The decent should have better temp control as its monitored in the group head of the machine

Ive seen it scaced on YouTube and its pretty solid.

My point also was make coffee you like then the number matters not

Hopefully you are not changing things daily as you will end up muddled
