Clodius even small thermal differences can produce measurable changes in shot time and yield.
If you are brewing by weight, your yield doesn’t significantly change.
Hot shots run faster than cooler ones. The temperature effect of PF is perhaps overstated. If it’s a bottomless, then there is very little contact with the brew, if a spouted then the coffee is brewed by the time it hits the spouts. Baskets typically don’t weigh much, so probably don’t have a big effect - all else being equal.
But, as always, if you want to be consistent, then do the same thing every time.
