This is a very old photo of my old Gene, which I always wondered why it kinda never worked for me. I was browsing through some old photos and found this:
Look at the amount of chaff build up leaving the chamber. That’s also just as I started the cool down cycle.
So remember, with the Gene, make sure your “screen wiper thingy (technical term)” is working correctly and also remember to charge the roaster with no more than 200g greens if they are chaffy beans!
4 years later and I think I am slightly wiser now :-)
