Decent De1pro v1.45 - Niche Duo - Niche Zero - Decent is the best machine ever made -

MediumRoastSteam Looking forward to hearing about this.

I’ve got another order of Coffee Compass beans which should be delivered today. So far, all have been good to excellent (except the Mocha Italia that I probably brewed wrong).

(sorry for the out-of-focus photo - Cherry Cherry, Gusto Gold, Jampit Hit)

I just see that photo and think it looks like a good secure bike storage area!

Is it a Ti gravel bike on the wall?

Trying a local roaster who advertises as Nordic roast. Doesn’t look all that light to me, what do you guys think?

that label is sending my ocd crazy haha

Cuprajake haha sorry the label was on the top of the box, continuing on to the front facing surface

Dusk It is. Reilly Gradient (my excuse is that I bought it exactly 20 years after my previous bike purchase, so it’s probably going to be my last).

hthec You really don’t want to see what’s behind that door. Chaos. No place for a respectable bike.

Sorry for not replying earlier, we have been out all day in Scarborough.
I believe if memory serves me right. When connecting to the main incoming supply you must have a change over switch. The generator will be a floating earth so an earth rod would need to be installed and connected to the house main earth, then a link fitted between earth and neutral in the plug feeding the change over switch from the generator. (This is so that the rcd will function). The last time I used a generator was for a charity stall and that was some 40 years ago, all we had to do then was put an earth rod in. I will try and check all this for my own benefit, as I have seen some differing opinions on this. I have a 16amp supply to the garage which I will use to feed back into the house by disconnecting at each end, fitting a socket outlet at the fuse board end and connecting whatever we want to use from there. The generator can be run in the garage so it will be a lot quieter. We purchased the generator after making an informed decision with what information that is currently available. (We remember the good old 3 day week and blackouts). So for £500 I think it will be worth while having. We will be running a small heater or a ninja multi cooker or some lights. We could connect and run the heating controls,. Even though it’s an inverter generator I am reluctant to run the heating as if any damage is done it could be more expensive and inconvenient. The house is a new build so very well insulated. We do now live in North Yorkshire in a rural area and have experienced power cuts in the past 4 years so it could well be used again in the future.

Dusk At least you will be fitter than I am. As I have got older I have become more belt and braces. Getting to old to phaff about. The wife and I discussed it and made a informed decision right or wrong. As the government will not be honest with us.I have tried getting the wife to go cycling but she is not that keen. We have a lovely safe place to cycle near us Dalby forest. We do go for walks there instead.

              Which roaster is it?

Coffee Roaster. Home: Sage Dual Boiler, Niche Zero, Ode v2 (SSP), 1zpresso ZP6 Work: Eagle One Prima EXP, mahlkonig e80s, Mazzer Philos and lots more

Dusk We all know that the perfect number of bikes is n+1, where n is the number of currently owned bikes.

Unless one is DaveC, in which case the above applies to the number of coffee machines. 😉

hthec You are welcome to come over and ‘test drive’ either (or both).
