I’ll put a little video together but essentially is sits on top of the portafilter, you then turn it and it uses the lugs/wings to clamp onto and then auto tamps. The advantage is the eveness of the tamp by the using the lugs/wings for grip and the top of the basket to stay level. I believe this gives it an advantage over a puqpress style of electronic tamper. Quite clever.
