What did postman bring today ?

I was looking for a filter-only hand grinder and went for the 1Zpresso ZP6. Ordered from Sigma Coffee and received within 2 days. I have used a few times already and it has the following improvements over my current OE Lido grinder:

Better adjustment mechanism
Overall easier to grind with (although filter grinding isn’t strenous on either)
Smaller and lighter (although still 700g)
Vastly lower fines production providing more clarity in cup

I also got a few special coffees from Clifton which I’m excited about. I’ve only tried the Indonesian so far but it is delicious!

First shot and steam… the steam know will take some getting used to after the Minima but I do prefer it being sprung I think, and really love the 4 hole tip vs the 4 hole I had on the Minima. Best milk I have ever made!

My wife is a big fan of the lack of noise as well!

First purchase from a new (to me) greens supplier: Small Batch Roasting. Couldn’t find many references to them online, but service was great and order came in next day with DHL.
Anyone here tried them?

Currently in my white phase

goes nicely with the white grinder, just wait the white scales. Annoyingly the white of the Bianca is slightly warmer/softer than the white of the Kopi Deva, Airscape and Normcore tamper station but not too noticeable

Tal just a very simple 1:2, 18g in 36g out in 30 secs on my Bambino Plus, not tried it on filter

My god-daughter’s son is doing some gap-year English teaching in a village near Lempira, Honduras, that grows coffee. So I decided to order some of the local stuff. As filter, it’s juicy and tastes of ripe berries.
