Were you not trying to connect the mains directly to Evo to see if you can bypass the water tank? I could be wrong, but thought there some discussion on this ? What are these for MOD Professor? 😄

Mattius2 Enjoy lingering over a pot of vac pot coffee especially at the weekends. Move to induction hob has meant the little Cona has been in the cupboard but found this mini hotplate on Aliexpress. 500W not the fastest but it works great. £11 delivered!

Clodius Toffee Apple Nicaragua, my first order from CW. Roasted on Monday. Put some in my single dose containers for the next week and the rest went in the freezer. Or should I have left them a few more days to degas?
Adrianmsmith Clodius Normally i wait until its good to go (7 to 14 days after roast) then thrown it in the freezer. Works for me Im sure there are many correct answers though.
dfk41 My new grinder! I have unboxed it but the unit is freezing so will wait until tomorrow before I try her out.
dfk41 It needs some explanation. The Elizabeth is set up to put water onto the puck for 3 seconds, then to pre infuse for a further 6. Once the pump kicks in the pour generally starts around the 12 second mark. I usually aim for 34 to 36 gms (including drips) over a total time of 42 to 48 seconds. Sometimes this stretches a little though as the Mythos might grind a little less or more but thats the versatility needed to live with a non single dosing grinder!
