Just made a drink with the Punch….whilst it cools in my pineapple quest this other one arrived today. I have never heard of the roaster before. It came in very attractive packaging

My V chassis has been sagging so I bought the chassis rails for the Evo Leva which apparently fit no problem. They are substantial, 3mm thick steel!

Also bought some drain valves for both boilers to upgrade my 2019.

Ordered Millionaire Shortbread Honduras from CWorks which have been delivered today. Apparently this needs 10 days of degassing, but don’t have enough coffee to last me until the 27th.

dang2484 I opened this one today. I have been drinking another Yemen coffee for a couple of weeks that was gifted to me from a ‘home roaster’. It was both on the lighter side and pretty damn good! So I was a little disappointed to find them well north of medium. As expected, as an americano they were not at all pleasant! But my pal was here so I made him a cappa and he said it was tasty. So I have just made my afternoon drink, this time as a cappa and I have to agree. The addition of milk suits the bean but it now means I am going to have to take milk to use then up! The camera makes them look lighter than they actually are.

I’ve had a few from Plot now.
Sureshot espresso for flat whites- recommended.
Tutti frutti - very versatile bean. Reminds me of foundry rocko mountain a couple of yrs back. Great in a flat white/americano. If it’s too wild can be calmed down with another bean.

dfk41 cheers David, I’m going to take a punt on these. There was another recommendation you said about ages ago (unorthodox roasters), which is one of my go to, so no pressure! 😉
