Elcarajillo Definitely going for the full Indonesian experience. Lot’s of classic coffees….and the OBJ, I’d have to guess you are an ex smoker. @ronsil always used to like a bit of OBJ, a hint of leather, spice liquorice smoke and old Toureg carpet..

I used to enjoy OBJ….

Strangely enough I am not an ex smoker, closest I was with smoking was a good Havana cigar occasionally, I could still fancy one but I do resist.
Ronsil did recommend one or two dark roasts in another place.
I do drink other coffee’s but prefer the thicker more syrupy mouthfeel ones. Suggestions always welcome.

Got to say I’m still on the dark side albeit decaf. That’s some memory you’ve got there Dave.

I received 4 bags of beans from Django. Never ordered from them before so looking forward to trying the various regions (Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia and Yemen).

Postman brought me an 8 LP Factory Records compilation. Not coffee related but I might sip a cup as I listen. :-)

Gagaryn I used to look forward to one of these coming through the door..flexi disks made of what felt like floppy thin plastic sheet. Some were music, some were stories, sometimes in magazines, or just on their own..

Yup, I remember those. Sometimes you even got one that played without jumping. :-)

Santa brought me some AA from coffee casuals and a gift box from devine coffee.

Got plenty to go at now

Decent De1pro v1.45 - Niche Duo - Niche Zero - Decent is the best machine ever made -

Well, it arrived today nearly giving our post lady a hernia. When unboxing, I could see everything was either in its plastic bag packaging taped up, or the boxes still sealed. The chap who was given it as a gift and sold it, just didn’t want it full stop, so had never even bothered to open it. Both the coffee machine and grinder haven’t even seen or smelt a bean, let alone touched one.

I know it’s not many people’s first or even last choice, but as I’ve said before, for me it is a major step up from my very old Gaggia. Plus, at the price being offered and now I’ve sold the Gaggia, it was a steal.

With the tweakability this machine offeres, maybe now I will be able to give my taste buds a reprieve and get to appreciate the nuances offered by some great coffee beans out there.
