Elektra espresso rotary switch

Hi,

I’m hoping someone could help me with the wire designation on my Elektra, T1 Art A3 Mini “La Deliziosa” for the manual rotary 2 pole (4 connector) switch.

The Italian switch have these designations:

S/L2
R/L1
U/T1
V/T2

Could someone please confirm where the Brown, Blue, Red and White wires should be screwed to the switch markings above.

Hi Michael I can’t get images to upload for some reason, I’ve got 3 red wires going to V/T2 and 3x white wires to the teminal directly underneath that, one red wire to S/L2 and a single white wire directly under that. No other colours sorry!

Hi Matt,

Your 3 white wires and 3 red wires make sense ( I believe those are for the motor outs).

I’m wondering your single Red (hot) and single White (neutral) is coming from the outlet wire along with the ground wire screwed down to the chassis.

So, do the Italian’s designate the Brown wire as Hot and the Blue wire as Neutral. That’s what I’m trying to figure out.

Back where the power comes in from the mains the block connector has brown-red then blue-white. Assume that carries through…?!

Matt, that picture confirms it….Thank You so much for responding.

You have the same wiring as mine from the outlet: Brown (hot), Blue (neutral) and Yellowgreen (ground).

I see that your machine changed the Hot wire from Brown to Red and the Neutral wire from Blue to White which equates to S/L2 = Brown/Red, and R/L1 = Blue/White.

Hope this will help others encountering the wire designation on a Bremas Main Power switch, 20A, 2 pole (4 connector) On/Off switch.
