I tend to buy based on their tasting notes for caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, etc, but my go to coffee is Uganda naturals Kwezi Drugar, Africa Moon and Bukonzo Dream, first 2 currently in stock. I roast on a Gene Cafe and the coffees have given consistent results over the past 4 years, 1.50 to 2.10 min from 1st crack depending on how cold the garage is. I brew with an Aeropress for milk based drinks and pour over for a black coffee, I find the natural process coffees have bold flavours that the milk doesn’t mask.
They also do a nice Yemen natural decaf (Co2 method) currently not in stock but it does come back fairly frequently.
The quality of the greens are good, buying single kilos can be expensive, I try and buy 5 kilos and with the current 20% discount it is a good deal. They also do a bundle offer on 1 kilo selected greens, 15%, 20% and 25% on 3, 5 and 7 kilos respectively.
