So for the level probe, not the temperature probe, You can clean it with steel wool or a brand new Stanley blade can also scrape off the scale if the wool doesn’t get it.

Temperature probes tend to just get replaced, but send a photo of you do take it out and can always advise

What’s the start temperature when you start steaming? And what’s the end? Double click the “+” button to find the steam temperature.

edit: oh interesting, didn’t know that was there! So it’s set to 145 but it reads 137 and drops down to 120 or so.

Question is why. Are you steaming and pulling at the same time? If so, try not doing that and see what happens.

erkal - well - one of the points of a dual boiler. But a machine with small boilers and 1.5kw in total - it can’t keep up. you need to understand the limitations of the machine.

Saying that - I do that, but I don’t have a problem at all.

I do wonder if your heating elements are working efficiently? Maybe scale? Not sure.

Clodius Oh god. I am not sure how old the machine on that thread is but I also live in London and was also using Ashback for a whole year. I changed to Zero water after reading things on this forum.

On the bright side, I guess my temperature probe is probably OK as the temp is not bouncing around like that.
