I’m still using a Brewista scale, now at least seven years old. It’s been repaired (by me) at least four times but it really is coming to the end of its life.

Any suggestions for the nearest equivalent in functionality would be most welcome.

Don’t want to spend a fortune so Acaie is out. Would like auto tare when I place the cup and a timer.

You can’t really go wrong with a mid / upper tier scales. I’m happy with both my Timemore Mini and Bookoo Themis.

I’ve had the Tinemore Black mirror scales for 6+ years now and they’re still going strong. If they broke I’d buy them again.

Many thanks to those who replied.

In the end I found the Brewista Mk2 on Amazon for £25. On the principle of “devil you know” I thought that was cheap enough to take a punt. They should arrive next week.

If they turn out to be rubbish I think I’ll go with either the Black Mirror mini or the Felicita.
