Well, I am scratching my head. A bean that I did not like as filter, when added to my hopper and mixed in has just given me a superb espresso based americano. I know that I like stronger tasting coffee to the more delicate filter/drip style when using SO beans. From memory the only close contender to the style I like is from a Moka pot and that is a method I have never really mastered. Sounds like time for a new thread!
