SiblingChris Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I don’t suppose I really need a 100g tube, but slightly wary of buying randomly from eBay although I did spot this seller doing small 10ml and 20ml pots… https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dow-Corning-Molykote-111-Silicone-Grease-for-Rubber-and-Plastic-O-Rings-Valves-/294335703171?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 thanks!
Ando I recently bought a small packet from Cafelat website - I didn’t hunt about to check price however, so may be cheaper elsewhere.
Hotmetal It isn’t 111 and of course I’m only assuming you wanted it for lubing an E61 group. I got this from BB. Although I have just seen they’re out of stock so this may be of limited use right now until they restock. Maybe it’ll help someone at some point! https://www.bellabarista.co.uk/cleaning-and-filtration/all-cleaning/waterproof-valve-silicone-grease.html
JahLaza I also found it difficult to find just before Christmas but bought it here in the end without any issues https://www.univarsc.com/products/molykote-111-silicone-compound
Doram europa Is Molykote 111 any better than others like FilterLogic CFL651? I use the FilterLogic and have had no issues. It lubes the cam and hasn’t killed me yet. I never had Molykote so can’t compare. If I am still alive in 132 year I will probably get the 111 and promise to do a thorough comparison.
rivergo1d With BB out of stock, I wondered if anyone had any views on risking this “food safe” grease in a smaller 50g tub, on ebay, for £4.30? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/392141463862?hash=item5b4d73e136:g:4sYAAOxyuCJRbx-p Alternatively, bes do the same brand as BB for about £2 plus £5 delivery.
tompoland Hey @SiblingChris did you see this? https://coffeetime.freeflarum.com/d/700-molykote-111-for-sale-unused
