Apparently this is a hot trend on reddit and people go crazy about it:
To make it, you pull a shot of espresso over a few ice cubes, top with water, froth with the steam wand and then strain (it’s a very quick steam: you inject as much air as possible – not like steaming milk – and everything stays cold because of the ice).
Had to try it. It was cool to see how much air is incorporated, but it’s not really my thing to drink espresso with water. Those who like an Americano might enjoy this more than me. Might also be nicer in summer, maybe sweetened a little?
