So I installed my new Mazzer burrs, they seem parallel but they aren’t perfectly aligned in their own axis when I spin them. When you tighten the 3 screws there’s a bit of wiggle room which causes this very slight misalignment of their axis. Is this actually something that needs to be controlled? It can be fixed easily by manually moving the burrs then tightening, then checking by manually spinning and repeat, but is a bit time consuming,
I think burr parallelism is the main issue with burr alignment which needs to be fixed else the grinds are uneven (the Mazzer is built so that this isn’t much of an issue) but I’m not sure about axis alignment. I drew a picture so its a bit more clear what I mean (not sure how to explain it properly).
