I’ve a few hobbies. Coffee being the newest addition.
Motorbikes is one of my longest standing hobbies though. Had a fair few bikes over the last 15yrs. Currently have a hack only, a 2000 VFR800fi.
Previous bikes:
2001 cbr600fs - first big bike
2003 zx6r b1h - barmy for a 600 class bike
1999 zx7r - loved it. Favourite bike, helps the nostalgia was there for me with it at uni.
1993 CB250 Nighthawk - hilariously crap project bike
2004 Zx10r c2h - too fast for the road.
2013 Triumph Street Triple R - awesome road bike
2003 ZRX1200R - heavily modded by previous owner, hated it. But loved the engine. Would buy a stocker only.
2005 SV1000S - excellent engine
2001 zx7r - bought to relive my uni days. Too old for the riding position though!
2000 Honda Deauville - commuter, incredibly dull but perfectly capable of lugging you to work and back in comfort.
2016 MT09 - kitted it out with KTech suspension, ids20 fork internals I would not reccomend, too track focused. Razor R rear shock was sublime. Can’t find a photo!
2000 vfr800fi - current bike, bought to fill a space in the garage after the mt09 was sold, supposed to be temporary during lockdown, been here 3 and a half years now!
I digress, my brother recently passed his test in his 30s, so I’m hoping to get out much more this year for pleasure, rather than for commuting through the holiday traffic on the M5 in summer!
Here’s to a good year!
