Hi all, so I thought I would bring you up to date with the last month or so
When the Evo arrived, it had an issues we’re it broke on day one of use, it sat for a couple of weeks like this till the parts flew over from Italy.
I mended the machine and got it up and running, but I was really jaded/and fed up by this point, with the cost as you can imagine I had a very un impressed Mrs, who was telling me to just send it back to Italy, easier said than done, the thing weighs a tonne.
After speaking with Maria, and her offering to sort the issues, she accepted a refund, by this point I’d been speaking with a few people about the machine, another forum member showed interest in the machine, so I sold it to him for what it cost me, and he’s just been to pick it up.
Great guy, who has picked up a great machine.
I’ve passed his details on so he has the full 2 yr warranty.
Maria and Paolo have been great throughout this, but once you’ve lost the love you’ve lost it, and just looking at the machine just pissed me off, day after day.
The upgrades to the Evo make it better than ever, I take back what I said initially about the nurri for the pressure release, and now the Evo. It’s very useful, reliable and introduces very little grime in terms of back flushing.
So off the back of this,
I’ve been looking at machines, I didn’t want to go back to the e61, and the LM machines look great, but didn’t float my boat.
I decided to place an order for a decent de1pro, it was that or move out of espresso totally.
I hope people will appreciate the last month has been very difficult for me, been toying with emotions, and will respect my decision.
