Saving grace is you’re looking at all the data and the shot you don’t even hear the pumps 😂😂😂

Edit: I see it relies on the scales, I didn’t know if it was built into the drip tray or something.

Looks really great in that space though, very sleek!

I’m half way up to Camp 1 🧗😅 Happy to help you climb to Camp 1, but you will probably still get there faster than I. Including the initial fun of keeping your scale Bluetooth connected.

It’s a key feature of the machine. I have the Skale 2, which is Bluetooth linked to the tablet. This allows the app to track the weight curve of the shot and also to Stop at Weight (SAW). I just select the brew ratio I want and hit the button.

PS The scale sits on the drip tray.

I had tried a printed mod that is a slotted drip tray top, connected by an arm to a base that sits on the scale. The scale then sits on the kitchen counter beneath the drip tray (between the legs of the Decent). It is a C shaped mod; imagine a C with a flat top and bottom. The top of the C is replacement drip tray grill and the bottom of the C is the base. The side of the C is a flat but wide arm that connects the plastic drip tray grill to the plastic base. Its a 3D plastic printed mod and so it’s looks and feels tacky. And it is useless as it produces inaccurate weights, depending upon where your cup is placed.

Cuprajake - question: why is the temperature so low, in the lower eighties Celsius? I always though the water temp hitting the puck should be between 91 and 95, depending on the coffee type and roast level.

From reading the decent measures at the puck, so reads 5 degrees lower than a normal machine.

Like the Bianca runs a 10degree offset from boiler to group from memory.

Cuprajake -thanks. So the Bianca, with an offset of 10C, reads 93C on the display (technically the temperature in the puck) because it’s reading 103C inside the boiler.

Your are targeting 83C. So, if it’s 5C lower than a normal machine, on what’s being displayed e.g.: 93C - shouldn’t you be targeting at least 88C? Seems very strange. I’m curious. 😊

from watching vids on say the bianca they swing when using them, thats why i went back to the evo, the group is rock solid.
