I was thinking of pitching a film script to acclaimed member, JohnWoo. It’s called Caveman Coffee, and centered around a forum member who “grinds” roasted beans by cracking them between his sausage fingers and frying pan thumb, into a well-seasoned ash tray. A random amount of boiling water is added, then it’s a quick swirl and ready for consumption. The person in question doesn’t believe coffee can get any better, and descends into any thread that even hints that there’s more to it. Woo tasks himself with bombastically educating the person’s palette. Predictably, it goes completely haywire, swinging from crazed exchanges to forays into high-cost grinders. The synopsis is fittingly “do as I say, don’t do as I do”… :D
