Ok this is why it has been frustrating me.
The first 2 sessions this morning I started with the service boiler off. Didn’t notice any drips on warm up, went about my business came back and the vent almost looks dry. Turn on service boiler, make coffee, only notice a handful of drips. Not the steady dripping I’ve seen at other times, but still the occasional drip. Turn off service boiler and they stop..Here is my easy fix I think, just run service boiler off until required.
But, this afternoons session with service boiler off I get the steady drip until boiler reaches 90 degrees. Definitely more water than when the service boiler heats up. After I let the machine warm up and return the vent almost looks dry again. Turn service boiler on, significantly less water on heat up than brew boiler. No steady drips but still see the odd one, and the vent is wet. Almost like it’s a super slow vapor leak and drips when the condensation pools up?
Am I right thinking there is something off here? Or am I just noticing this more because I am working at home using it everyday?
