As I have recently picked up a lovely Bianca on here, for sale is my 2006 Gaggia Classic which I have owned and cared for, for c.12 years! I will Include all that is shown in the first photo. I will try and list all items below but in summary, it is relatively stock except for the usual mods - OPV reduced to 9bar as tested using the old forum gauge, silvia v1 steam wand, a 155deg steam thermostat for added steam pressure, IMS shower screen, brass dispersion plate which I have drilled and countersunk the holes to solve the jetting issues known with the brass plates.
Also included are: single, double and triple baskets, blind basket, gaggia portafilter and naked portafilter (from happy donkey), spare gaskets and seals, spare brew and steam thermostats, stock dispersion plate and stock gaggia shower screen. The group gasket was replaced about a year ago.
The machine was back flushed regularly and kept clean inside and out. We are in a soft water area and my alkalinity drop test shows a very low alkalinity of approx 4ppm CaCO3. Water report is also screenshot below. Happily send a video of a drop test to confirm.
There are the usual scratches to the cup warmer plate but otherwise in great condition considering the machine is 16 years old.
Looking for £250 but open to decent offers! Would like it to go to a forum member.
