Jacquesburg I tested one and it was fine in terms of performance and I didn’t even have the noise issue, Whether there have been further changes or not I don’t know. I guess the thing is to be mindful of getting the right information.
- Owners with problems will usually post vociferously multiple times and on multiple forums
- If a problem is stated by retailers, ask them to be specific, exactly what, check out the information, does the retailer sell the machine or not. Unspecific niggles isn’t really helpful. “loads of issues with the Crem One; plastic parts, Chinese manufacturing, broken software and hardware”, what are the issues exactly, is this hearsay, Apple phones are made in china……you get the idea.
My only knowledge of issues is that it’s corporate owned and changed hands again since I reviewed it…at that time it was owned by a US Corporate called Wellbuit. Very large companies have money and backing, but can be slow to change and develop things….sometimes that’s good sometimes it’s not.
The main thing to ask yourself…what do you want from a machine…I found it a very nice machine to use. However, it might not be right for you. I still have the machine, but have not used mine in probably 2 years as I have had other machines to review and test in the interim.
