**Water leak on sides** We have noticed water under the main unit finding its’ way on either sides on a regular basis. We had initially thought that one of us is responsible for this or the drip tray over flows. We can confirm that we only remove the glass or the bottle after the unit completely stops. Not even a drop finds the way to the drip tray. We always keep a glass on the drip tray, just case. In recent weeks, the water leak occurs at regular intervals. I will give a couple of examples. The attached photo happened on the 9th April and the short 13s video happened today. The difference is the water was also on the floor today. It’s a great unit. It’s unfortunate that we keep seeing the water leaking from some where. I do not think the leak is from the tap as the glass on the drip tray is empty and so is the drip tray. Lift out the back water tank…if it's all wet on that platform, it could be coming from there. I'm very careful how I put the tank on as I used to get some water under the machine, but have not since I have taken extra care to positively place the tank almost straight down and not at an angle then straighten. I always look to see if water has formed on the tank platform, which can happen if it's angled too much then straightened as it goes down. This water can flow out at the edges of the tank and also drain into a little joint running across the machine. The other thing I always do is an occasional smear of Molykote 111 on the tank fittings, and sometimes the valve…to make a nice seal. It may not be your problem, but worth checking.

We were having the same problem and I figured it out it's from the drip tray even though it's not full, somehow water finds it's way out between base and top part, if you want an experiment, fill drip tray half then attach it to machine and have a look bottom of it, water will start to drip. At least my drip tray does it. I now empty it every other day and never had a problem. Edit: I have seen your video now and that's way too much water to be from drip tray sorry.

I ditched the drip tray almost immediately due to splashes etc', have used this plastic pot ever since, have also got rid of the felt pads as well. [upl-image-preview url=//i.imgur.com/jZTHABG.png]

Swapping the empty filter with the mineralisation filter didn’t help. The leaks have been a regular feature. I think this is the reason! https://imgur.com/a/zRIlCFr

I have a leak from the base of mine which couldn’t be found with Osmio’s technical advice remotely so I’m now having to send it to them for a repair. Just waiting for them to tell me how much they’ll charge for repair and postage as it’s no longer under warranty.

@"nopapercup"#p17263 I contacted them today and they said “_expect some water to be under the system from the supply tank getting taken on and off but usually around a tablespoon is expected.”_ I have shared the video showing a large pool of water. Anyway, it’s more of a nuisance to move it every alternate day to wipe it off. Now, I wipe any leaks under the system every day. The unit, otherwise, works normally as it should.

@"LMSC"#p17268 Mine started with a sporadic leak and overtime got worse to the point it was a non stop leak and no longer useable. Hopefully they can fix it relatively cheaply as I’m not inclined to spend nearly £500 on a replacement

@"nopapercup"#p17278 Are you feeding the machine with hard water? If yes, scales can block the valves and cause a leak. We feed softened water.

Osmio Zero water leak

We cleaned the inlet / outlet valve + carried out a full system descale with 1 tbsp of citric acid. The valves and the unit were very clean with no traces of scales.

Although we followed the descale instruction using the guide + flushed out 5L of water with the carriages added to remove the traces of left over Citric acid, we seem to get a salty sensation - teeth, gums, lips while drinking water and beverages.

Do you have any recommendations how to check if this is from the unit / filter please?

Another question is: we want to measure salinity added by the water softener. How do we test the sodium level of the softened water that goes into the Osmio Zero ?

Doesn’t make any sense to flush out as we have been using the system for a few days (since Saturday) after descaling filling the pitcher at least 3 times a day.

I have my Osmio back and fully functioning apparently a solenoid valve was blocked. They now sell filter packs specifically for hard water areas which I’ve now bought. Whenever I’ve had to deal with Osmio, their customer service has always been brilliant.
