dfk41 I bought this in Autumn 2019. It had one owner prior to me. I then passed it onto my son who used it extensively during lockdown when he was working from home. He has since changed employment and for the last 9 months has been back in the office. It is in very reasonable condition. There is a small ding on the left side of the drip tray, with a coffee bean next to it for scale. It has been run on a combination of RO water and since my son took it he just used our soft Northumbrian water! It comes with a single spout pf and a bottomless that I believe was bought from Londiddly, and a spare handle since the bottomless has a wooden one. No issues to report. The seals were last changed two years ago by our very own Patrick and if I can find it, I will offer an @Norvin made seal changing tool for a few quid extra. They really make seal changes easy. Without one, it is a genuine struggle! https://www.coffeeforums.co.uk/threads/norvins-londinium-seal-tool.49872/#post-717161 I do not have suitable packaging for it so would be reluctant to ship it. If anyone is interested, we can sort out the finer details like transport. I am based in Newcastle. You are most welcome to come and have a play. I have tried to describe it accurately. For anyone who does not know the history, these machines (the Mark 1’s) came out late 2012. They are a true lever using no electronic wizardry. It is just man versus machine! I am going to source some packaging for this in the next couple of days. If I am able to, then as long as the buyer is able to arrange their own courier, thus taking responsibility for any problems in transit, 🚚 will be an option.
dfk41 Cuprajake The ‘Joey’ is my sons. I bought a set before he really set up selling them, back in the day before I became a pariah….LOL
dfk41 I will leave this here until Monday, then it is off to Ebay with it. SO, if there is anyone interested, now is the time!
DavecUK Stick it on ebay now as well David, if there’s 80% off fees, it’s well worth it. There’s no rules here about it being listed in multiple places. You have priced it very competitively compared to what I have seen other Londiniums go for.
dfk41 As far as I can see, it is 80% off listing fees of £1, but still 13.8% final fee…….they really are robbers!
prezes dfk41 mine says: Get 80% off variable percentage final value fees (“FVF”) per listing in final value fees if the item sells and pay no insertion fee.
dfk41 prezes Cheers matey, someone else pointed that out to me so I pulled it from Ebay and re-listed it
dfk41 Also on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/709604843700038/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Aea5e6427-708f-4b8b-8174-c415cd40321b
Jollybean I would be interested in the Norvin seal changing tool if you do manage to find it David and are willing to part with that separately.
Jollybean No problem David. Sounds a very useful tool though. I always kick myself for not getting one when Norvin was making them
dfk41 Is there no one even remotely interested in this? I thought it was good value…..what do you think?
DavecUK dfk41 I think for a Londinium which apparently (according to a certain person) hold their price so well, it’s cheap….especially when compared to a new one.
dfk41 I cannot guarantee this as it is at the discretion of another forum member, but if the machine was available for collection from the Preston area, would that help anyone?
