I had a stove top kettle, which was a 1L capacity for a few months. It was cheap costing £15. The handle was getting warmer recently and it broke while lifting. No burns or injuries, luckily. Amazon was kind enough to take a return.

I use this as a dual purpose - one to fill up the machine and the other for pour overs -V60 and Clever.

A litre capacity is ideal. Not willing to spend hundreds. What do you guys use please? I am thinking get another similarly priced one for £15-25.

Thanks

LMSC - not a recommendation as such, but a tip: I used to have a Hario Buono kettle. I wouldn’t recommend for V60 as the flow of water was way too fast.

I had this. It was ok, like Hario, the flow is faster for V60.

The V60 is what I use for filter mostly. The Clever comes out may be a couple of times a week.

MediumRoastSteam Buono is pretty much all I use for V60 (mainly though because it is the electric version). Not over filling it (say 300g for a 200g-ish brew) helps in keeping the flow rate down for 1 cup brews (2g/s actual pour is really easy to do). For larger brews you don’t really need to worry so much.
