Cuprajake A great question. I do not think so. Like all fruits and vegetables, this isn’t free of fertilises and pests, IMO.
The organic coffee is subject to the USDA certification and certified crops must meet some guidelines such as:
Use natural substances, bio-based, or mechanical farming methods
Free of fertilizers and pesticides
I guess not genetically modified.
The farmers may also focus on cultivation, processing, and roasting to ensure they receive the certification.
Fair trade coffees are organic.
