has anyone noticed the Brew Pressure Gauge reading differently with this hot weather, mine was bought in April and has had nothing done to it but it was showing a brew pressure of about 9.5 bars and recently it is around 8 bar, is this because the higher temperatures, just curious really not complaining about anything with the machine, I am well happy with it, I realise the gauges might not be the most accurate thing, thanks

gordy53 probably something to do with puck, grind and weather. I suspect if you had comparisons done with a blind filter at different times/env temps, they would be the same.

not sure I would be bothered to do that, I am quite happy with the results I have and my Sinuses are pretty rubbish so I do not have the best sense of smell or taste and Hayfever does not help either but in general I am more than happy with my Coffee results the same sort of thing with a decent wine would probably wasted on me as well!!

Pretty sure it is the beans that are affected by the weather, with this higher temperatures I think you need to adjust the grinder to a finer setting regularly, else the flow will be higher and pressure lower.
