Foundry’s Luis Anibal
First dial was a little faster!
Pulled at 90.5/96.5 as this falls in the medium/ medium dark category. This was the one of beans they said may have become a tad darker than expected (2-3 numbers) on the Tonino scale - die to their recent experimental processing method.
It’s a lovely coffee to drink as an espresso and also with milk. It’s full of flavours and aroma. The medium dark is the best description for this, which is a bit of a shame as I would have preferred at least a medium, if not lighter. To be fair, they said they aim to roast to balance things as they knew greens like Anibal can be too acidic on the lighter side. It did make a great filter. Overall, a great all rounder.
