Sorry, it is CafeParts - they aren’t local. It is the US based.
DavecUK Probably, but I will only be bringing back the agreed parts, my Wiz Air cabin bag is only tiny!
Sure. Thx.
I think all the parts are tiny.
DavecUK It’s probably just one of those things…so rare, no one is really sure, but sounds most likely cause
Unfortunately, I will be shooting in the dark, hoping that pin (SM 99) is the problem.
I am also thinking, if broken ball bearings on SM 124 (also ball bearings) might also cause that sound. That’s my luck! lol. 😂
That’s why, I said some other possible parts, just in case.
DavecUK Don’t disassemble it until you get the spare
I agree. I won’t. I have lubed the cam surface and that roller pin to my best, given the reach.
DavecUK I’ve searched and searched can’t find it, on the parts diagrams. But if it what I “think” you mean…NO the spring is under tension.
Please see the red circles for the bolts I mentioned.
I won’t remove the bolts for sure, unless the double springs pressure is relieved thru’ the pressure holding nut, which I think will be very difficult to remove. That’s why I said bench vice. Jake recommended a large breaker bar and deep socket to remove this nut after it is tapped safely on the vice. Not sure, I am prepared to do this, though. 😁
Thanks Dave
