DavecUK This is honestly my idea of hell - I am the last person on the planet interested in getting into random arguments online with people. And my comment about the pinned thread was tongue firmly in cheek - I had nothing to do with that and couldn’t care less about it.
You have helped me in the past on more than one occasion, for which I am very grateful for.
I accepted you explanation about the scratches etc.. ACS offered me a brushed finish part as a replacement and I politely declined.
They offered me a replacement different style drip tray cover - I politely declined.
Yes - there wasn’t and inch of lube on the safety system - but people can surely get the jist from that, that the thing was absolutely caked in the stuff. It was a nightmare to remove - wedged in far too tight.
Maria has been excellent - in constant communication with me trying to resolve this. They are determined to make me happy here. I can’t really fault that - I think it shows they do really care about customers.
The suggestion that my intention here is to try and damage the ACS brand is absolutely ludicrous and has really annoyed me. I have posted about my issues here, and here only. I was reluctant to even do so right at the start of this, but was encouraged to do so by other members.
I am sure that ACS will sort these issues out and that this will end up being an incredible machine.
