If the polymer can stand up to group water temps, which could be, 97C yes, but it can’t be thicker than 2 mm and preferably 1.8mm. as per the tech drawing I put up.

Polymer would be good as there is not a massive forwards force on the screen.

Stainless circlips are available of course….

It’s all relative.

Some Evo users still use the stock or a similar stainless steel circlip and are happy with it. Users like self can’t be asked to grab an internal circlip pliers to remove the circlip to drop the shower screen. It’s too much of a faff. The GU10 clip does the job beautifully as we can remove it and clean the shower screen on the fly. 😊

It does the LSM type group uses 2 types of circlips, snappy stainless ones and non stainless… they can be had from ebay for a few pounds and I have given a dimensional drawing of the group, identified the size, multiple times and may have even listed the e-bay seller.

I keep saying this and seem to be ignored, why…?

If you get proper steel GU10 clips as above, I doubt they will rust either.

P.S. Rust won’t hurt you.

I dont like the idea of it rusting or blocking holes in the screen. The rust would be my main worry

Agree. Rust is a cause for concern. Our GU10 is 6 months old. It’s fine. It fits very well and perhaps one can cut on the green lines.

Like we all change the gasket to food-grade silicone, may be it is an option if this is possible!

I will get my leva within the next weeks. But if there are problems with rusting clips, and this problem is
known, I would expect that Vesuvius wich are delivered from now on won’t have these problems and will be delivered
with GU10 clips.

The GU10 clips are a local mod we came up with, just write to ACS and ask them to put some SS circlips in the kit for you

There is a VST basket compatible with the Evo Leva?
They were my favorite in 58mm… :(.

darkstefano VST doesn’t have. Tbh, we don’t see a taste difference between the stock and the IMS. We use the IMS 26 at home because the 18g dosage would only fill a half of the stock basket! 😊

Please look at the nut pointed by the arrow on the Vac Brk. Is this the one to remove — to lift the service boiler please ? There is some clearance.

I do not think thar nut can be removed. It is probably tightened on both sides.

Of course, assuming the rest is removed.

The plugs on the bottom of the boiler will be sealed with sealant and you need a hex head to undo them.

Some plugs may be ¼ inch, some may be 1/8th inch thread (don’t think they are metric….I don’t know which is which, and you might want to check with ACS.

What size thread is your drain valve?

As I did warn, people are on their own with this, I don’t have a production machine and can’t really help much.

Which one of them provide access to fit the drain pipe. I reckon all of them. Perhaps, centre is better!

PFA the photos. It goes straight to the drip tray via the plastic pipe. Please see the photos.

BTW, I haven’t heard anything from Paolo. If you speak to him, please mention about my message about the Drain Valve. BTW, is there an ACS WhatsApp number ?
