Btw, I forgot to mention:
The thud screws, which I removed yesterday from the bottom of the service boiler had a small deposit of lime scales. It must have happened at the time of testing at the factory as the service boiler had some decent amount of water when the machine was delivered 6 months ago.
This would not have happened here at our place as we always feed the Osmio Zero water from day 1.
The monthly testing of the water from the boiler doesn’t show any evidence. Perhaps, scales formed with the factory testing initially, and stopped forming later here at home with the Osmio as shown by the drop kit test result.
I am therefore thinking if a gentle descale (citric acid) — 50g for the service and 25g for the brew - poured through the reservoir would benefit.
