I don’t know it the rubber in the plugs is easily removable or not.
I would try on one of your plugs that already has a stripped thread.
That way if you can’t get it out nothing is lost.
If you can get it out and it is just an O-ring then you may want to use the viton rings I will send with the plugs.
Either way I would still use teflon and moly as per Dave’s suggestion.

Just ordered a new gauge as my existing one sits at 2bar so wanted to change it., also ordered the flush lever upgrade for my Leva 1……It has this little lever so the new one not sure if it’ll make a huge difference as don’t have the safety system, but just like new toys for the old girl

Just fitted the flush lever, took about 10 mins. 8 of them trying to decipher the instructions 🤣

Too late to try but noticed pre infusion starts as soon as the lever pulled.

Any tips on this at all. Evo Leva 1 without safety sleeve

Adjust the bottom screw and black wedge so it engages when the main kever is vertical ….

Get used to pulling the lever slowish so the piston keeps up with the pump

It does not matter yours is an evo 1

It just will not auto dump

And the so called safety system is irrelevant.

P s 🤪 cooper washers look nicerer than the nylon ones 🤭🤭

In my opinion, it will do a great deal because it allows you to easier have a full cylinder of water and very little air.

In fact, there is no advantage to having a V2 for what this lever does….

And it means you can easily clean the portafilter if like me you do not like walking to the sink with it!!

Added a bit of LS-X silicone to the side.

Note. Molykote 111 and LS-X feel the same whilst applying . THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!! LS-X IS NOT A LUBE!!
