LMSC Traditionally, a low pressure shot would mean the ground size isnāt fine enough to get the usual 10-11 bars.
But that wouldnāt change the swept volume.
@MacPhisto
1 are you changing the piston for the correct sleeve.
With the open sleeve is the piston set so its just above the circlip groove when reassembled
With the blind sleeve is the piston set to be at the very bottom of the sleeve when assembled. Not too high or too low . Check does the lever has a lot of play when the lever is up. You can feel for that with the piston assy out and the sleeve in place if you have vernier you can measure it also.
Are the seals well lubed
Do you have the mk2 purge lever. If so does the pump engage as soon as the lever is fully vertical and you pull the lever fully down slowly
As already said a video will help
And photos of the piston assy out of the machine.

Sleeve should be able to fit flush but also measure or feel by adjusting the piston to ensure it is ājustā at the bottom, no big gap.
What pressure do you get with blind basket.
Loads of questions for this one without photos and a video

Correct piston position without shower screen fitted

Long piston is for open (original) sleeve.

For blind sleeve measure piston position against blind sleeve depth.
P.s. i start at 11 bar, 10.6 with blind sleeve
Finish at 7.2 or 7 bars.
Volume is 44 to 48g (!)
