Hi @cimbali yes mine is plumbed.
I haven’t done my drain as no waste pipe yet.
For the mains input there is a pipe/input in the bottom of the machine. It has a plug that needs to be taken out and then the included braided pipe is attached. The other end obviously needs connection to a mains pipe. I have a pressure reducer as my mains is high (was told to get it to 2-3 bar by Bella Barista).
Separately you also need to go to the advanced settings to enable the mode in the software. To get to the advanced settings turn the machine off and you need to hold two fingers on the touchscreen at the same time to start the menu. The two fingers go in the black area on each side of the power on/off icon in the middle of the screen. This is done while the machine is off but the screen still on. I found it takes a few goes and that I had to hold for a few seconds and put a bit more pressure on the right side of the touchscreen. @DavecUK made a video I think this one -
Once there cycle through the menu and I think it was setting F04 that only has two options i.e. on or off. You can find more of the options in the main manual - https://sway.office.com/pQLa02FN4KX86gkG?ref=Link
Thereafter there is a fill sensor that I had to change the height of to my own ideal height. It’s basically a plastic float thing in the reservoir tank which triggers the tank to fill. At first mine was too low and so you raise the sensor by pushing the tube/wire back into the machine so it sits a little higher e.g. half way up the tank.
I would advise;
- Work without above (i.e. manual fill) till happy machine up and running to avoid risk of running boilers dry etc - for me this was about 24hrs as I am impatient
- Make sure your incoming water is tested/ treated properly. You need to test your water for and adjust using e.g. bestmax or use osmosis ideally. I have a whole house 5 micron filter and moving from bestmax to osmosis ASAP, and water softness in my area is very low. This is because even when low the sediment/scale builds up in the steam boiler as water evaporates to steam…
Hope that helps
