Has anyone else had the occasional puddle at the front side if their Evo?
I ordered an new drip tray mainly because i wanted a black one, but also because i thought the original one had a leak on a weld.
Well, the new one arrived yesterday and i have to admit its possibly been around a month since i cleaned out the one in use, but, luckily that has showed me where the “Leak” was.
A leak that is not a leak
The solution…….
So it seems when very small amounts of water “dribble” from the drain, water tracks under the pipe and out of the back of the tray, eventually being seen on the worktop below.
As you know its a shared drain by the dump solenoid on the v2 and the condensate and anti vac breather on the v1 and v2. Im assuming it happens after the main dump when theres just a slight amount of water left in the line.
Anyway will report back if this solution hasnt fixed it but im hopeful it will.
The evidence was a slight track line down the back of the tray due to my idleness over the last few weeks
I see on later videos @DavecUK has done the same to divert his water towards the centre of the tray as well.
Possibly a simple fix we should all look at for whatever reason?
Im guessing everyone has fridge filter push-fit line in “that drawer” 😁☕
