My memory is terrible! I was trying to work out when the Niche launched. I can think of few coffee products let alone grinders that have had so few documented problems, especially bearing in mind the way some people 'hated' and knocked the product from day one. Seems that was all to no avail of course. So, can someone confirm when it was launched for me please?

Cuprajake I think 2017 was when the Indiegogo campaign launched. I can remember chatting to Martin in August 2017 when I was in hospital. The result was the introduction of @“DavecUK” to the Niche team. I think it launched on Indiegogo in November or so but it must have been sometime in 2018 when they were released. That means they have been out in the wild about 4 years or so……how time flies!

It’s very accurate, I often have 3 or 4 coffees on the go and write the grind setting number for each on the airscape or bag.

One of the reasons I like the design so much.

The Niche is the easiest of all the grinders I have owned for changing grind settings and it’s equal first place for an adjustment to result in the change that I would expect and for locking that adjustment in. It’s predictable, consistent I can’t think of another grinder that has such an easy work flow. I just thank our lucky stars that the creator took @DavecUK advice and went with Mazzer burrs and not the Italmill burrs they were planning on.

The summer 2018 timeline is correct, I think I was the 2nd to receive mine and my serial No is sub-100. £360 paid or rather pledged to the kickstarter risk as the original launch was of course.
