Coffee Compass “About the Town”. That’s not readily available on their site, as it’s a blend for the local cafes. If you want to buy it, place an order for one of the blends and make a note asking for it to be replaced, but best to contact them before hand just in case.
It’s quite “traditional”, one of those coffees that cuts through milk well, as well as giving a well rounded traditional style espresso. I’m not a fan myself, but I can see the appeal for anyone who enjoys darker roasts.
Tasting notes are of strong coffee and milk.
18g in, 36g out, 29 seconds, no pre-infusion, water temperature at 90C, constant 9-10 bar (no profiling on the Elizabeth!). Usual 220g of cold whole milk steamed to my (pot luck) standards.
