DavecUK that makes some sense.
I appreciate they want to make money. 47 years of running businesses has left me with the indelible impression that profit is one of several quite important aspects of launching a new product or business.
So I agree that they are in this to make money and yes its probably their primary imperative.
But none of us know if they are cynically exploiting climate change fears or they truly want to make a difference. I’ve recently made the mistake of incorrectly guessing someone’s motivations and I don’t want to do that again. At least not so soon 😀
On balance, biodegradable pods are a massive step in the right direction given that most of the packaging that beans come in, big bags or small, are not biodegradable. Most coffee bags are not recycled, let alone biodegraded.
Still open to all ideas but at moment I’m finding it hard to fault what they are doing. It seems to me that it’s quite a remarkable endeavour.
Thanks for your perspective.
